(Muslim) Project 'Uloomination is a 4 weekend seminar at the Anne Arundel Community College near Annapolis, MD designed to connect seekers of knowledge with the 'Ulema in the Baltimore-Washington DC Area. This Saturday Shaykh Faraz Rabbani and Shaykh Omar Qureshi of Seekers Guidance will be giving a talk on how fiqh works and how to use it to get closer to Allah (subhana wa ta'ala). Topics: - What is fiqh? - How are rulings derived in Islam? - What is a madhab and do we have to follow one? - How can we use fiqh to get closer to Allah (swt)? Assalaamu alaikum sisters! We will be having our first MWM General Body Meeting tomrorrow! It will be in the Student Involvement Suite, Terrapin Room B. We will be eating lunch during the meeting (so bring your lunch with you!) and discussing the semester so far, the Tea Party this Sunday, the rest of the semester, and we'll be taking suggestions and concerns from anyone who's willing to give input inshaAllah! |
